Dr. Matthias Heisse is Managing Partner with Heisse Kursawe Eversheds and has been working in the area of corporate law since 1988. In the early nineties, he oversaw the opening of the ARCON offices in Erfurt and Berlin. Since 1993, he has been responsible for the expansion of the corporate and tax law practice of the firm and the further development of its capital market branch.
Dr. Matthias Heisse has advised numerous national and international clients in all kinds of transactions, including management buy-outs, acquisition and divestment support, and defense strategies against take-overs. His clients include international private equity firms, medium-sized companies, and international corporations.
Dr. Heisse is a member of the International Transaction Support Team of Eversheds and supervises the German team of this unit of Eversheds International specialized in international transactions. Furthermore, he is a member of various supervisory boards. Dr. Heisse is also acting as an arbitrator for disputes regarding stock exchange issues.
Dr. Matthias Heisse earned his Ph.D. from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. He frequently lectures on corporate law topics at the universities of Augsburg, Munich and Turin.
